Active Electrostatic filtration
Passive mechanical air filtration is the standard method used in Ireland to remove airborne particles from a buildings fresh air supply. In commercial buildings a panel and bag combination is normally used. The filtration effectiveness of panels and bags improves as their material loading increases. Conversely, the pressure differential across the filters and therefore the fan motor load also increase.
